It's such a nice chill place. The lady at the register was from Louisiana. Her accent was so thick I knew the food had to be good. Lol!!! I got crawfish tails, boudin balls (sauce was great), and the triple Tejun. As well as banana pudding, which was great. This is a good seafood place

My husband has been asking me over and over to come here.... We finally came and the atmosphere is clean and refreshing.... I feel a peace sitting here waiting for my food. Whoever the lady was at the register was very professor and friendly. She was able to answer all the questions about this restaurant. She made suggestions for different foods. My husband and I paid 34 .... We ordered: shrimp poboy, side alligator nuggets, Thursday special and coleslaw!

We had a great time at the Tejun. Boiled shrimp & crab were good. Kids' burgers were big enough for an adult. Hush puppies were on point. Great scenery outside on the patio too.

WON-DER-FUL! The Monday deal on crab was fantastic and omg great portion , amazing flavor and so much more than any other place! Ithink it was even better than buying crab at the seafood section at the store. And the ambience soooo enjoyable! Plenty of space and lovely view. Never come in a rush. This is the place you want to take your time to enjoy everything. First timers and forever fans now!

First time. Very unsure at first l but talking with other customers and then the order taker I went with the shrimp fish combo and was very surprised on the taste tenderness and juicyness if the fish and shrimp. It was delicious. I'll be back on the weekend and bringing the wife with.

Surprisingly delicious! I didn’t expect to find fresh, flavorful seafood in Red Oak but this place has it. The atmosphere is open and clean, though tables are pretty close together. They do have a nice patio option overlooking a little pond area that is nice when it’s not too hot. We did stand in line for a while because they had one cashier but they finally added someone to help her with the long line. The menu had a good amount to offer. The fried shrimp poboy was a large portion with a wonderful balance of flavors. If you like crab cakes, they offer large crab cakes that are delicious! They have a good amount of crab meat and come both fried and grilled. I tried both options and they were both amazing! Highly recommend! The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. We had a great experience and enjoyed our dinner. It’s a nice little gem that offers a break from the typical cuisine you find.

This Cajun spot by the lake is such a gem! Great vibes with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for chilling by the water. I had the ATCHAFALAYA — blackened fish topped with etouffee sauce and shrimp, served over rice with corn on the cob and a red potato. It was loaded with flavor! The fish was perfectly seasoned, the etouffee was rich and buttery, and the shrimp added a nice kick. Everything tasted fresh and cooked just right. Nice portions, chill atmosphere, and good flavor — I’ll definitely be back.

From start to finish we had a great time! Plenty of parking pulling in off service road. Place was very new and clean. They even have private party rooms for your events. Food was priced fairly, great portions, outside seating overlooking lake. You can feed the turtles on deck. Kid friendly with plenty of seating outside. Manager David was walking greeting everyone, very nice guy. He asked how the food was and asked if I had tried the beans and rice and brought me some to try. Gave us vouchers for discounts on the deserts which we got both the banana pudding and the beignets which I loved. Overall I love this place will be back bringing more family! I’m thinking of doing my birthday dinner here!
